Metis Funding Solutions has been a finance broker since 2016. The company has 51 years of experience in assisting businesses to find solutions to their funding requirements.
Our mission is to guide Directors and Business Owners through the wide range of funding opportunities available, helping them identify the most suitable solution for their specific business needs.

Paula Walker
Director
Paula has experience of working in both the banking sector and the independent market working for Alex Lawrie Factors Ltd, Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance, RBS Invoice Finance, Bibby Financial Services and Ultimate Finance. Her experience spans 26 years and involves funding, invoice finance including factoring, invoice discounting, construction finance, asset finance trade finance, loans and bridging finance. Paula also has experience of structured deals involving asset finance, loans as well as trade and stock funding.
Paula’s experience of working within different sectors over a number of years means she has a wide network of contacts who provide funding – meaning she can find the right deal for you. Paula develops good relationships with her clients and is excellent at guiding people through what can seem a daunting process.
Outside of work Paula likes walking her dogs, going to the gym and spending time with her family.
David Walker
Sales Director
David has spent much of his working life in the Finance Broker world. In this sector it’s not just about sourcing funding, but also being a trusted advisor and trouble-shooter for businesses.
David has worked with all sectors of business, including construction, manufacturing, engineering, transport, printing and recruitment. He has worked with new businesses to enable them to access to start-up funding and day to day working capital as well as working with established businesses to provide them with Invoice Finance, Asset Finance and working Capital Loans to help them fund expansion, assist with payment of HMRC payments, invest in equipment purchases and assist in the purchase of business premises.
David has a vast knowledge of restructuring businesses and has been able to guide, support and provide finance for Directors through this process. Through David’s network of Accountants, Solicitors and Panel of Lenders, he has advised many Directors not just with Finance solutions but also with day-to-day business support and advice.
When not working, David loves spending time outdoors walking his dog and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
